Article Acceptance Criteria

Choose a topic relevant to the niche. The sample article must reflect the following four elements:

 

  • Simplicity

  • Clarity 

  • Elegance

  • Evocativeness

 

AUTHENTICITY

 

  • The article's content must be free of plagiarism.

  • Any evidence indicating spinning or rephrasing of content already available on google will be rejected.

  • Any practices that can put your content close to plagiarism must be avoided. 

  • The content should be unique and backed by various studies and authentic sources. 


 

FORMAT

 

  • Use the H1 tag for the title, H2 tag for subheadings and H3 for headings within H2 subheadings.

  • Try to use keywords within the heading tags without disrupting fluency and relevance.

  • The article's length should vary between 1000 to 1500 words. 

  • Use keywords within the first paragraph, (preferably in the first sentence) to immediately identify the theme of the content.

  • Keep the length of the sentence less than 20 words.

  • Keep the length of the paragraphs less than 150 words to improve readability.

  • Alternate between the synonyms and related words of the targeted keywords and the main keyword itself. However, do not stuff keywords into the paragraphs unnaturally.

       For example, if the keyword is ‘disadvantage’, try using other words besides it, like a

       drawback, con, inconvenience, problem, harm and so on.

  • Include bullet lists, images and infographics to make the content attractive.


 

WRITING 

 

  • The content should be free from typos and grammatical errors.

  • Follow the rules of the British English Language.

  • The article must sound elegant and the words should flow within the context.

  • The tone of the article should not be robotic.

  • Don’t use unnecessary big words, keep it simple and easy to understand.

  • Use transition words to maintain fluency.


 

CONTENT

 

  • Perform in-depth research before curating your content.

  • The article must not be based on your opinions only. We are looking for content backed by facts and figures, studies and detailed analysis.

  • Create a balance between information and creativity.

  • Use storytelling to simplify your content

  • Avoid redundancy and do not leave loose ends. 

  • Write to satisfy the user intent. Provide complete information regarding the topic for the targeted audience. whether it’s a query you’re answering, a Product R or a step-by-step tutorial. 

  • Mention statistical figures to increase the authority of your article.

  • Include citations and outbound links from authentic sources and websites.

 

Tips

  1. Before you start writing, read the top 5 articles on SERP and analyze how they’re written and what you can do to produce even better articles. 

  2. Take at least three days to write your sample article and utilize them as follows,

 

  • Day#1 - Research and take notes.

  • Day#2 - Write.

  • Day#3 - Edit, Edit and Re-edit.
